Warm weather, dry conditions continue this weekend in Kansas City area

The warm weather and dry conditions will continue through the weekend in Kansas City, and the area may not see rain until late next week, said FOX4 meteorologist Joe Lauria.

Saturday’s forecast calls for sunny skies, temperatures in the upper 80s and low humidity.

The area may see temperatures go up to the lower 90s Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

“The negative about this nice weather is things are really going to start to dry out,” Lauria said in a weather update to The Star. “We haven’t had much rain so far this month, and it looks like over the next seven days, if we don’t get rain next Friday, we may not even get a quarter of an inch of moisture, so the best chance of rain really waits until the end of next week.”
