Chance of snow to follow warmer temperatures in Kansas City this week
A mix of sun and clouds will stick around Tuesday into Wednesday as temperatures across the Kansas City metro area continue to creep up before dropping again later in the week, according to FOX4 meteorologist Michelle Bogowith.
Tuesday’s high of 50 and low of 31 will be topped by Wednesday’s high of 57 and low of 36 before temperatures begin dropping again Thursday as another weather system rolls in, she said.
“We are going to be introducing chances for very cold rain showers in addition to the potential for snow for some of you,” said Bogowith, who provides weather updates to The Star.
Temperatures are expected to continue dropping overnight Thursday into Friday morning, bringing the chance for some snow mixed with rain lasting through the day Friday.
Pleasant weather is expected to make a quick return as weekend temperatures are forecast to peak in the 60s.
