High to reach 81 Tuesday in Kansas City before drastic drop arrives Thursday

Kansas City’s warmest day yet is expected to arrive Tuesday when the high reaches 81, said FOX4 meteorologist Garry Frank.

“The weather really hasn’t been a nuisance minus Friday and it’s going to continue to be that way beyond,” said Frank, who provided a weather update for The Star.

Wednesday’s high is 79.

“However it will be cooler on the other side of that so enjoy that for a brief period,” Frank said.

Thursday’s high drops to 58 and Friday’s high is expected to be 56.
