Warm weather, windy conditions expected Wednesday in Kansas City

Sunny skies and warmer weather will continue Wednesday in the Kansas City area though it may be windy in the afternoon, according to FOX4 meteorologist Joe Lauria.

Wednesday’s temperatures are expected to be close to 70 or in the low 70s, Lauria said in a weather update to The Star.

“But here’s the thing, tomorrow (Wednesday) is going to be very windy. Maybe not so bad in the morning, but as we head toward lunchtime tomorrow the winds will start picking up, gusting to around 20, maybe 25 mph,” Lauria said. “I can’t rule out some 30 or 35 mph winds sometime tomorrow afternoon or even tomorrow night.”

There is a chance for rain Thursday and again on Friday in Kansas City, according to the forecast
