How we did this story

The Star produced this weather update in partnership with the local FOX4 television station. The station’s meteorologists create forecast videos multiple times a day for the newspaper to include in its weather reports.

Some drizzle could extend into the afternoon in the metro. Cloudy skies will persist for the rest of the day with cooler temperatures expected. Highs will likely reach only into the lower 50s, he said.

Skies will clear overnight setting up Wednesday for more sunshine and highs near 70 degrees. Highs will be in the lower 60s on Thursday and Friday.

“We have to start talking about more rain chances though as we head into the early portions of the new weekend,” he said.
