Put that jacket on if you’re heading out for New Year’s Eve, but it warms up soon
It will be a chilly but dry New Year’s Eve, followed by a warmer-than-average New Year’s Day, said FOX4 meteorologist Michelle Bogowith. Temperatures at midnight will be around 30, so bundle up if you’re stepping outside.
Enjoy Wednesday, she said, because wet weather is on the way Thursday.
A front moving in will likely bring rain to the second half of Thursday, continuing into Friday, she said. A wintry mix is possible on Friday.
“And don’t be surprised if you see a few flurries lingering around into your Saturday,” Bogowith said.
Things dry out for the weekend, with the 40s returning Sunday and Monday.
