Rain is in Saturday’s forecast for Kansas City. Here is when it’s supposed to arrive.

Rain is expected in the Kansas City area Saturday, and it could get heavy at times, according to FOX4 meteorologist Joe Lauria.

It may not rain all day. The area may see some showers in the morning, but the best chance of rain will be during the afternoon, “especially after lunch through the middle part of the evening, through about 7 or 8 o’clock or so tomorrow night,” Lauria said.

Thunderstorms are also possible.

By the time the storm system move out, the area could end up with a half an inch to an inch and a half of rain.

Kansas Citians will also notice increased temperatures Saturday with a high near 60.

Then on Sunday morning, a cold front is supposed to move through, causing temperatures drop from near 40 down into the 30s.
