Eastbound Interstate 70 closed in Blue Springs following fatal crash
Eastbound Interstate 70 in Blue Springs shut down Wednesday afternoon following a fatal crash, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred just after 2:30 p.m. on I-70 near Woods Chapel Road in Blue Springs, according to Kansas City Scout cameras.
Two vehicles were involved, the MSHP posted on X, formerly Twitter, Wednesday afternoon. The roadway is currently blocked, and traffic is being diverted onto Woods Chapel Road.
It’s unclear when the highway will reopen.
