A collision involving a semi-tractor trailer and two vehicles late in Tuesday morning’s commute temporarily closed a portion of Interstate 49 near Harrisonville, Missouri, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office said.

The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. along southbound I-49 just before the exit to Missouri 291, according to Kansas City Scout.

No injuries were reported in the wreck, but the highway was temporarily shut down while deputies investigated the crash, the sheriff’s office said on social media. While the highway was closed, traffic was diverted at the exit to Peculiar, Missouri.

A traffic camera showed that traffic was squeezing by the crash on the shoulder while crews cleared the debris.

Kansas City Scout estimated that crash would be cleared by 10:30 a.m.
