Unoccupied truck strikes, kills woman in Missouri
SHELL KNOB, Mo. – Authorities say a woman has died after an unoccupied pickup truck rolled into her in southwest Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the victim as 68-year-old Bobbie Harris, of Shell Knob.
The patrol says the Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 rolled backward down a driveway Thursday and struck Judith Betts, 77, before traveling onto a street and hitting Harris. Harris died at the scene.
Betts sustained minor injuries.
