SW Missouri man wins $1 million on lottery scratcher
A $10 scratcher lottery ticket paid off big for a southwest Missouri man.
Terry Pryer of Nixa won a $1 million prize after buying the “Platinum Payout” ticket on May 31 at a Kum and Go store in Nixa.
The Springfield News-Leader reports Pryer hid the ticket until the next day, then he took it to show his mom, Geraldine Pryer, while she was working. After claiming the $700,000 lump sum payment a few days later, Terry Pryer offered to share the bonanza with his mom.
