Two southwest Missouri teens killed in car crash

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Two teenagers have died in a single-vehicle crash in southwest Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 19-year-old Skyler J. Hinojosa, and 18-year-old Kristina M. Russell, both of Forsyth, died Wednesday when the vehicle they were in ran off a Taney County road and landed upside down in a creek.

The Springfield News-Leader reports the accident occurred outside Forsyth.

Forsyth is about 20 miles northeast of Branson on Lake Taneycomo.
