2 Missourians arrested in about 60 car break-ins
CHILLICOTHE, Mo. – Authorities in northwest Missouri say two men arrested recently might be connected to more than 60 vehicle break-ins.
The St. Joseph News-Press reports an investigation into a vehicle break-in in Dawn led to much wider investigation in northwest Missouri counties.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department found break-ins of 15 vehicles in Chillicothe and 50 vehicles in the Trenton/Grundy County area.
A 19-year-old Trenton man and an 18-year-old Princeton man were arrested and face charges of burglary, theft, and property damage.
They are being held in the Daviess-Dekalb County Regional Jail.
