School: Girl band members were recorded while dressing
FAIR GROVE, Mo. – A southwest Missouri police chief is asking that charges be filed against three teenage boys who allegedly secretly filmed female high school band members while they were dressing.
Fair Grove Police Chief Adam Mallory says he wants prosecutors to file felony invasion of privacy charges against a 17-year-old and two 16-year-old male students at Fair Grove High School.
The Springfield News-Leader reports up to 10 female students were filmed by a concealed cell phone while changing for band practice.
Mallory says some of the pictures were shared with other male students but none were placed on the Internet.
School officials called police after being alerted by a student.
Superintendent John Link says eight students were suspended and some will not be able to participate in school activities.
