Liberty teen is killed in head-on collision

A 17-year-old died after he was injured in a head-on collision Friday morning in Liberty, police said.

The accident was reported about 9:40 a.m. near the intersection of Church Road and Camille Street. A Honda Civic driven by Anthony Eisemann appeared to have crossed the center line while heading north on Church Road, police said, and struck a southbound Ford F-250.

Eisemann was taken to Liberty Hospital, where he died. The driver of the Ford F-250 suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The accident remained under investigation.
