One man is dead after a storm blew through a Missouri ranch, flipping over a camper, officials said.

On Sept. 22 a “strong storm” passed through a campground at Cloud 9 Ranch in Caulfield, according to a Facebook post from ranch officials.

The storm flipped over a 5th wheel camper with two people inside.

“There were no storm warnings active when the storm hit,” ranch officials said.

Initially, both people were being treated for injuries. However, hours later, officials said one man had died, an updated Facebook post said.

“We are sorry to inform everyone that the man who was injured in the camper that was blown over in a storm today has passed away from internal injuries,” the post said.

The other person’s condition is unknown.

Caulfield is in southern Missouri, about a 100-mile drive southeast of Springfield.
