A Missouri man spent six hours atop a 40-foot tower during a police standoff, cops say.

Henry County sheriff’s deputies went to the 51-year-old man’s home on a domestic violence call early Monday, according to a news release.

When they showed up, the suspect was sitting on what appears to be a tall TV antenna pole with a rope in his hands, a photo shows. He refused to come down, police said.

Then the fire department arrived to assist the deputies.

After six hours of negotiating, the man agreed to come down, police said. But he fall the last 6 to 8 feet, hitting the ground, police said.

The man was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for treatment, police said.

The man has not been charged with a crime in relation to the incident, according to online court records.
