University of Missouri police say man’s body found in creek

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Authorities have found the body of a young man in a Columbia creek.

The Columbia Missourian reports that police have identified the man but aren’t releasing his name, pending notification of his family. University of Missouri police said the body was found Tuesday morning in Hinkson Creek.

Police said the man isn’t a university student.

The Boone County Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Police said there is no indication of foul play.
