Teen’s body found in Topeka hotel room

TOPEKA – Topeka police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a motel room.

Emergency crews were called to the hotel Saturday by a hotel guest reporting finding the body in a third-floor room of the Ramada West.

The Topeka Capital-Journal reports that police identified the victim as 18-year-old Sarah Cheyenne Crawford.

Police are searching for a 26-year-old Paola man who’s considered a person of interest in the death, which is being investigated as a homicide.
