Lawrence police investigating woman’s death

LAWRENCE – Lawrence police and state authorities are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found at a house.

Police say officers found the woman’s body at a home Saturday afternoon, but that the woman hasn’t been positively identified.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and Lawrence police are investigating the death, which police consider a homicide.

Police say no additional information would be released Sunday.
