After a hit-and-run on I-435 resulted in an injury, the Overland Park Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to locate the vehicle involved.

Officers with the Overland Park Police Department responded to westbound I-435 at the Roe Avenue exit ramp at 5:06 p.m. on June 28, 2026, on reports of a vehicle and motorcycle collision, Officer John Lacy, a spokesperson for the department, said in a news release Thursday.

Investigators are searching for a gray four-door sedan with tinted windows in connection with the hit-and-run, which resulted in an injury, Lacy said. The vehicle may be an Acura.

The vehicle involved in the collision “likely sustained noticeable damage to its passenger side and the right front side mirror,” Lacy said.

Anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run is asked to call Officer Jonathan Hayes at 913-890-1437.
