Wichita police find missing 68-year-old man safe
Update: Wichita Police announced Thursday afternoon that Curtis Vines had been found safe.
The Wichita Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a man who went missing Wednesday morning.
Curtis Vines, 68, was last seen around 9:45 a.m. in the 6000 block of East Ironhorse. He does not have access to a vehicle and is believed to be on foot, according to Wichita police.
Vines is 6 feet tall and weighs around 175 pounds, according to a news release. He has blue eyes and brown hair, and was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and blue jeans.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation issued a statewide Silver Alert. According to the alert, Vines is diagnosed with a medical condition which puts him at risk.
His family is worried about his safety, the news release said.
