Man dies after being hit by a semi on I-70 in Topeka

TOPEKA – Topeka police say a man died after he was hit by a semi-trailer truck on Interstate 70 in western Topeka.

Police say the man was struck about 6:30 a.m. Thursday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further information was immediately available.

Eastbound traffic on the interstate was restricted to one lane as the accident is investigated.
