Police: 800-pound wok stolen from Kansas restaurant

WICHITA – Police are searching for whoever stole an 800-pound wok from an Asian cuisine restaurant in Kansas.

Wichita Police Lt. James Espinoza says the wok was stolen Tuesday afternoon from the Bamboo Express Asian Cuisine restaurant. He says the large wok was placed outside when a replacement pan was installed in the kitchen.

Authorities say the wok “would have taken several people to move.” No arrests have been reported.
