Tweeters roast Debbie Wasserman Schultz but complain that her name is too long
If Democrats thought they’d be able to put on a show of unity in Philadelphia this week, that plan got blown to bits over the weekend.
DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned Sunday in the aftermath of leaked emails.
Twitter went after her but had a hard time fitting scorn into 140 characters.
The worst part of Debbie Wasserman Schultz is that her full name takes up 24 characters, leaving less room for all my HOT TAKES

I think Debbie Wasserman Schultz should resign just on the basis that her name takes up 24 characters. I only have 140 to work with here.

@Morning_Joe @slone @JoeNBCGlad Debbie Wasserman Schultz is gone. Her name took up too many precious Twitter characters.

Does Trump not have a nickname for Debbie Wasserman Schultz because it won't fit in 140 characters next to her name? https://t.co/eXQ34UzLjX

It didn’t take long for Twitter to trot out its favorite slam.

People couldn’t understand why the Democrats didn’t run Wasserman Schultz out of town, quickly.
#DWS will be speaking at #DNCinPHL today. That would be like me getting fired then showing up at the next staff meeting like "wassup?"

As of now, DWS is still on he convention schedule to gavel things in. It's like if Nixon resigned then took a stroll through Berkeley.

#DWS should leave now... Right now. #DNCLeaks

Twitter saw a certain Republican in her.
DWS does a pretty good @tedcruz impression... https://t.co/R7ENjezSdf

The similarity between her initials and the Twitter handle for a certain ABC dancing show was not lost.
Every time I see a tweet about DWS I momentarily think it is a tweet about Dancing With The Stars DWTS.

Collective jaws dropped when Hillary Clinton’s campaign named DWS as an honorary campaign chairwoman. Wait, what?
This is a terrible move from Hillary. It looks like a reward for DWS giving her preferential treatment. Back away. pic.twitter.com/Wm19YkIJIz

And one more thing: Karma is a you-know-what.
Remember that time DWS mocked @Reince, before being pulled from speaking at her own convention? https://t.co/Ft926PMAJB
