Eric Greitens offers ‘ISIS hunting permit’ for donation to his Missouri gubernatorial campaign

Eric Greitens, a Missouri Republican candidate for governor, has come up with a new fundraising gimmick: an ISIS hunting permit.

For $10, donors get a bumper sticker proclaiming the permit.

“No bagging limit. No tagging limit,” the bumper sticker says.

The Greitens campaign has made much of the candidate’s links to the military, including his time as a Navy SEAL. He famously aired an ad blowing something up.

There has been no reaction yet from Greitens’ GOP opponents: Catherine Hanaway, Peter Kinder and John Brunner.

But apparently the campaign expects some.

“Liberals will go crazy when they see these, but remember, this isn’t an official government issued hunting tag,” the news release says.

ISIS, a terrorist group headquartered largely in Syria and Iraq, has not been a major issue in the GOP governor’s race in Missouri.
