Mayor Sly James hires press secretary

Kansas City Mayor Sly James has hired Michael Grimaldi as his new press secretary.

Grimaldi has had a long career in public relations and journalism. He most recently was senior communications consultant with Trozzolo Communications Group.

He replaces Joni Wickham, who was promoted to the mayor’s chief of staff.
