Kansas City Council to discuss police response to Donald Trump rally
The Kansas City Council’s Public Safety Committee expects to hear Wednesday from police about the tense interaction with crowds outside a rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Saturday night outside the Midland theater.
The committee is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday on the 26th floor of City Hall, 414 E. 12th Street.
The committee frequently hears from police commanders, and this Wednesday’s agenda includes time for a discussion about how police dealt with Trump supporters and protesters.
