Kansas City’s second streetcar, No. 802, arrived Wednesday afternoon in the River Market.

It made the journey from Elmira, N.Y., upon a giant flatbed truck.

This follows delivery of No. 801 on Nov. 2. That vehicle has already undergone extensive testing along the 2.2-mile streetcar route from the River Market to Union Station. Testing will now include the second vehicle.

City officials are still awaiting the third and fourth CAF streetcars early next year. The system is expected to begin serving the public sometime in the first half of 2016.
