Missouri’s top educator to visit Kansas City area
Missouri Commissioner of Education is visiting the Center School District on Thursday to help them celebrate high performance scores.
Margie Vandeven, the state’s education chief will also be discussing the district’s Annual Performance Report (APR) score of 92.1, which puts Center schools solidly among the top performing in Missouri.
Part of Vandeven’s visit will include a stop at Red Bridge Elementary to hear a special fifth-grade science initiative. She will also participate in the “green screen” project helping students with a weather video.
