KC hosts CityAge conference this week

Kansas City plays host this week to mayors and business leaders looking at investments, ideas and collaborations to rebuild America’s cities.

The CityAge summit conference on the New American City is Thursday and Friday at the Gallery Event Space, 61 E. 14th St. in the Power & Light District. The event is open to the public, with a registration fee.

Mayor Sly James will be joined by other elected officials, including the mayors of Green Bay and Madison, Wis.; Tacoma, Wash.; Tuskegee, Ala.; and Little Rock, Ark. Other speakers include representatives of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, the Kauffman Foundation, Populous and the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.
