Kansas City man dies from injuries suffered in motocross crash

A 53-year-old Kansas City man died after he lost control of his dirt bike on a private motocross field in northeast Missouri.

Timothy J. Stalcup was riding the motocross field southwest of Kahoka, Mo., about 11 a.m. Sunday when he lost control, ran off the course and was thrown from his 1984 Yamaha dirt bike, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead an hour later.
