Change of staff in KC mayor’s office
Kansas City Mayor Sly James’ chief of staff, John McGurk, is leaving at the end of October for a job in the private sector.
Joni Wickhman, who has been director of public affairs in the mayor’s office, will succeed McGurk as chief of staff. Wickham will continue as media contact in the mayor’s office until a new press secretary is hired.
