Construction started this summer on the new Johnson County Courthouse, slated for completion in 2020 in downtown Olathe. It is on schedule and on budget, with a total cost of $193 million. The county has released a new virtual tour of the interior, which will have 28 modern courtrooms, ample meeting space and a secure tunnel to Central Booking. JE Dunn is the general contractor on the project.
