Do you know where your local city hall/municipal building is?

These people do, and they posed for photos there on Monday, which was declared #CityHallSelfie day by ELGL, a national organization of local governments.

It’s WHAT day?

Of course city hall communications folks led the charge, some, uh, better than others. (Wink.)

Las Vegas had props ready for its citizens.

The photos revealed a breathtaking diversity of city hall architecture across the country.

Mayors and mascots got into the act.

Back to Mike Ekey, communications director for the city of Raymore. He visited several Kansas City area city halls on Monday. He seemed to pop up everywhere.

Not technically a selfie, but ...

Did we mention that Kansas City deserves some type of prize for the sheer number of selfies posted from around town? Just sayin’.
