Watch: Twinkie the dog breaks 100 balloons and a world record
Hate to burst your bubble, but here’s one world record that just bit the dust.
Twinkie, a Jack Russell Terrier from southern California, has popped 100 balloons in 39.08 seconds, an official Guinness World Record for a dog.
That blows away the previous record of 41.67 seconds set by Cally the Wonderdog last year on “Britain’s Got Talent,” according to Guinness.
Twinkie was born with a balloon-busting pedigree.
Her mom, Anastasia, is a record-breaking balloon popper and a model, too, who has appeared in Vogue, on the Mighty Dog website and in an ad for Target.
The balloon popping? That started one New Year’s Eve when all the balloons fell at midnight and Anastasia went nuts over them. Soon she was busting out her talent on TV shows, at fundraisers and backyard parties with her trainer Doree Sitterly.
Anastasia held the doggie balloon-popping title for seven years until Cally took it away.
When asked whether her new record was sweet revenge for her mother, Twinkie offered no comment.
Now just pop on down here and watch Twinkie mow through all those red balloons.
