Police: 102-year-old NY man dies in ATV accident

LAGRANGE, N.Y. – Police say a 102-year-old Hudson Valley man died when his all-terrain vehicle overturned in a creek.

The Dutchess County sheriff’s office tells local media that Neil Pearson was riding the four-wheeled ATV on his property in LaGrange Thursday when he became pinned beneath the overturned vehicle and drowned.

Deputies say tall grass prevented Pearson from seeing the stream about 60 miles north of New York City.
