Angela Andrews sent out 21 invitations for her son’s birthday party earlier this month.

But no one came.

So she did what lots of aggrieved moms do these days - she shared her heartbreak on Facebook.

That’s where a group of Arkansas state police learned that little Toxey had been stood up by his classmates.

Two days after the party date - surprise!

Four state troopers showed up at Toxey’s house in Hot Springs Village with a cookie cake, video games, a basketball and a razor scooter.

After he realized something bad hadn’t happened to bring men in uniforms to his front door, Toxey cried.

“They had come to give me all that stuff and make up their own birthday party for me,” he told KTHV in Little Rock. “I cried a little bit because they did that for me.”

The troopers brought their K9 unit, too. They showed Toxey the car sirens, ate cake and played basketball with him.

“They made my sweet baby’s day, and his year!!” Andrews wrote on the trooper’s Facebook page.

She told the TV station that she knew the night before the party that no one was coming. Her Facebook post about it, she said, was an “outcry to parents.”

No parent wants to feel like no one cares about their child, she said.

“Just please if your kids get invited to birthdays,” Andrews said, “take them.”
