It can happen to anyone in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

You forget to register to vote.

But when your dad is running for president?

Then it’s something of an oops.

During a phone conversation on Monday morning with “Fox and Friends,” Donald Trump revealed that two of his adult children — Ivanka and Eric — are not registered to vote as Republicans in New York, where they live.

Which means they won’t get to cast a vote for their dad in next Tuesday’s GOP primary.

“They were unaware of the rules, and they didn’t register in time,” Trump said.

“So they feel very, very guilty. They feel very guilty. But it’s fine, I mean, I understand that. I think they have to register a year in advance, and they didn’t.”

ABC reported that records from the New York Board of Elections show that both Eric, 32, and Ivanka, 34, are registered voters who “are not enrolled in a party.”

The election records show that Donald Trump Jr., 38, is a registered Republican.

The deadline for registered voters to change party enrollment was Oct. 9, 2015.

As you might guess, the jokes are rolling in.
