Part of U.S. Capitol closed after asbestos spill
Officials have closed the House side of the U.S. Capitol because of an industrial spill there.
Capitol Police say a hazardous material response team is on site Thursday following an incident that began sometime around 2:30 a.m. to 3 a.m.
The Architect of the Capitol released a statement indicating the incident involved ongoing asbestos abatement work.
