Texas man driving a tractor, 85, dies after a bee attack

Officials say an 85-year-old man driving a tractor in South Texas has died after being stung numerous times by a swarm of bees.

Willacy County authorities say the victim died Tuesday afternoon following the attack near Raymondville. His name wasn't immediately released.

Someone working at a nearby day care stopped to check on the man and noticed a swarm of bees.

Emergency personnel responded to a brushy area where the man had been working and found the victim.
