Four Marines die in Afghanistan

The U.S. Defense Department has reported these fatalities in Afghanistan:

Marine Sgt. Thomas Z. Spitzer, 23, of New Braunfels, Texas, was killed June 25 in combat operations in Helmand province.

Marine Staff Sgt. David H. Stewart, 34, of Stafford, Va., was killed June 20 in combat operations in Helmand. Also killed in the operations were:

Marine Lance Cpl. Brandon J. Garabrant, 19, of Peterborough, N.H.

Marine Lance Cpl. Adam F. Wolff, 25, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
