House sues Obama administration over ACA
The U.S. House of Representatives sued the Obama administration in Washington federal court today, naming the Department of Health and Human Services and the Treasury as defendants.
Republicans on Capitol Hill have been threatening to sue the administration over the Affordable Care Act, and in July the chamber voted to do so, claiming the president exceeded his constitutional powers in delaying one of the measure’s central requirements on his own, without a vote of Congress.
