How white is too white? One house that’s graced the real estate market in Arlington Heights, Illinois, is begging folks to answer that question by taking a peek at its, well, blinding interior.

The five-bedroom, 5.5-plus-bathroom home is listed for $1.7 million and might seem like a fairytale to some, with its marble floors, dramatically high ceilings and glittering chandeliers, while to others, it might come off as cold.

But that doesn’t stop it from being just plain cool.

“A custom-built ranch-style estate with lavish amenities ideally suited for multi-generational family living and perfectly designed as an entertainer’s dream. Come home to a paver driveway, walkway and patios that lead to an immaculate entrance with a handcrafted 14’ black iron double door,” the listing on Realtor says.

Inside the 6,078-square-foot home, a ton of features stand out, including:

  • Chef’s kitchen
  • Designer walk-in closets
  • Butler’s pantry
  • Two laundry rooms
  • Wet bar
  • Theater
  • Walk-in humidor

The residence was featured on Zillow Gone Wild, a Facebook page that highlights unique listings around the country, and people were impressed by the various shades of white it has to offer.

“Feels like I’m hunting for a polar bear in a blinding snow storm…” one person joked.

“I guess on the upside though, there’s definite roller skating potential!” another expressed.

“White, blinding white, arctic white, winter white…toooooo white!” someone pointed out.

“Anyone else just itching to play paintball?” one person asked.

“I want to put on my socks and go sliding across that floor!” another said.

Arlington Heights is about a 25-mile drive northwest from downtown Chicago.
