A Kentucky woman is facing several charges after police say she tried to kill her sister by setting her bed on fire.

Addison Brown, 22, is charged with arson, wanton endangerment and murder-domestic violence, according to court records.

Attorney information for Brown was not available.

Just before 1 a.m. Sept. 12, Brown set her sister’s bed on fire at her home in Louisville while she was sleeping, then took off, court records said.

The sister woke up to flames next to her and rolled out of the bed, officials said. She used a pillow to stomp out the fire and called emergency crews.

Four other people were in the home at the time of the incident, officials said.

Brown sent messages to several people, including her sister, admitting to starting the fire in an attempt to kill her, court records said.

Brown was arrested and pleaded not guilty, court records show. She was given a $250,000 cash bond and ordered to have no contact with the victims. She is due back in court on Sept. 22.
