A 22-year-old man disappeared without a trace after leaving a Renaissance festival in Michigan, authorities say.

Jacob Angeles attended the Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly on Saturday, Aug. 16, and was last seen at 11 a.m., according to the Rockwood Police Department. He did not return home.

Holly is about a 75-mile drive northwest from Angeles’ hometown of Rockwood.

His wife, Erica Angeles, said his phone has been off since she tried to call at 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

“He would never not come home, especially would never miss work so we are very concerned,” she said in a Facebook post. “He does not drink, smoke, or do any drugs so he would not have stopped anywhere to sober up.”

Police said the missing man was driving a 2006 Jeep Commander. He did not show up for work in the early-morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 17.

Erica Angeles has been left puzzled, saying her husband is a “man of routine.” Family began searching for him Sunday, but it has been unsuccessful.

“There are no clues, nothing is standing out, we have nothing to go on,” she said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rockwood Police Department at 734-379-5323.

“I need a sign. I need any kind of clue,” Erica Angeles said on Facebook. “No one just vanishes without a Trace and I need something to go off of.”
