Video shows woman dancing ‘in a provocative manner’ over disabled person, GA cops say
A “viral video” of a woman dancing provocatively over a person with disabilities has been tracked to a Georgia teenager, according to investigators.
The 19-year-old suspect is facing a charge of exploitation of a disabled person, the Loganville Police Department said in a Jan. 28 news release. Loganville is about a 35-mile drive northeast from Atlanta.
Details of a motive have not been released.
“On January 23 ... the Loganville Police Department was made aware of a ‘viral’ video posted to social media depicting a female dancing in a provocative manner above a disabled person, who was seated in a chair,” police said in the news release.
“A criminal investigation was initiated which resulted in both a search warrant and an arrest warrant.”
The suspect, who lives in Loganville, was arrested and taken to the Walton County Jail, officials said.
Details of how she came into contact with the victim have not been released.
A police report describes the suspect “as a medical worker,” and the dance showed her wearing medical scrubs, WMAZ reports.
The video “went viral on TikTok,” WAGA reports.
