Taco Bell puts new spin on a fan favorite, adds 2 frozen drinks. When can you get them?
Taco Bell’s fan-favorite nacho fries are returning, this time with a garlicky twist.
Customers can get their first bites of the new steak garlic nacho fries Thursday, Jan. 16, at participating Taco Bell restaurants nationwide, according to the fast-food chain.
Two Baja Blast frozen drinks will also join the menu, Taco Bell said.
For $4.99, the steak garlic nacho fries include seasoned fries topped with marinated grilled steak, pico de gallo, shredded cheddar cheese, nacho cheese sauce and a new garlic ranch sauce, a product description reads.
It’s the latest iteration of the menu favorite, which debuted in 2018 to become “the most successful product launch” in Taco Bell’s history, according to the restaurant’s website.
Previous versions included jalapeno ranch and a spicier variety featuring a Serrabanero hot sauce by Secret Aardvark, McClatchy News reported.
Inspired by dirty sodas, Taco Bell’s new Baja Dream Freezes blend the classic frozen beverage with “a swirl of vanilla crème,” the restaurant said. Customers can choose from two flavors:
- Baja Dream
- Strawberry Baja Dream
They cost $3.69 for a 16-once regular or $3.89 for a 20-ounce large, per the fast-food chain.
Other items joining the menu include:
- $5, $7, $9 Luxe Cravings Boxes
- Build Your Own Luxe Cravings Box
