A North Carolina man was visiting Las Vegas when he won a huge jackpot off a $12 bet.

Now, he’s taking home over $61,000.

The lucky player sat at Jewel of the Dragon Phoenix slot machine on Aug. 3 at the Rio Hotel & Casino, the hotel said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

He started playing until a message flashed on the screen that said he had won the jackpot worth $61,093.18.

Another out-of-state visitor recently hit a slot machine jackpot, but with a $3 bet in Las Vegas.

The lucky player won $2,170,581.77 on July 26 at the Palms Casino Resort, McClatchy News reported.

They were playing the “Wheel of Fortune” machine.
