A “potty-mouthed” parrot was surrendered to a New York animal shelter.

Now, Pepper needs a “humor-loving home,” according to a June 15 Facebook post by the Niagara Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

The “cursing conure” is known to throw a swear word or two out there, the shelter said.

“If you think Pepper’s feathers are colorful, you should hear his language,” the shelter said.

Pepper is a white-fronted Amazon parrot who will be available for adoption next week, officials said.

The shelter said a sun conure named Peanut and six parakeets will also be available.

Shelter officials ask for “serious inquiries only” and said Parrot’s potential new owner must have appropriate housing and bird experience.

People rushed to the comments to show their interest in the “foul-mouthed feathered friend,” with one person saying “I’ve never wanted to adopt an animal so quickly.”

“I’ve never wanted a bird until reading this post,” another wrote.

The shelter is based in Niagara Falls, about 20 miles north of Buffalo.
